The Civil Engineering community has reorganized its technical
support staff to mirror its major business lines (functional areas).
This support staff structure resulted in the creation of a Subject
Matter Expert (SME) for each major CE business line (functional
area). Each SME is charged with improving and advancing the body of
knowledge for their functional area. Sustainable sites represents a
growth in site management body of knowledge and will support many of
